circuit board assembly
In addition to our electromechanical components and molded parts, we also produce customer-specific printed circuit boards. You will competently support you from the idea to series delivery in the technical conception, planning and implementation. Relying on the latest technology and using state of the art machinery and equipment, our manufacturing partners are able to offer a wide range of PCB options including flexible, rigid and rigid-flex circuits as well as single and double sided and multilayer PCBs.
The assembly is carried out according to customer specifications. As an inexpensive alternative to rigid (or flexible) printed circuit boards in etching technology, we offer double-sided polyester switch foils at. The circuit layout is screen printed on both sides of the foil. The plating ("Through-Hole") is realized with a special conductive paste. To protect against the silver migration effect, the silver conductor tracks are covered with an overlapping carbon paste.
Circuit board with silicone safety mat
We offer both silicone keymats as well as the appropriate circuit boards. As a central component, the silicone safety mat triggers a direct switching function on the circuit board underneath. In applications with high reliability gold-plated contact surfaces on the circuit board is preferred. Screen printed carbon is widely used because of its cost effectiveness and strong chemical resistance.
The contact surface the circuit board should be in every direction be at least 0,5 mm larger as the contact surface of the keyboard. For rocker buttons and buttons with metal domes, please submit the circuit board contact circuit to us.
Hotmelt molding process
The hotmelt molding process, also known as low-pressure injection molding, is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic components such as printed circuit boards, sensors and other components from negative environmental influences.
In this process, the components are placed in a mold and covered with a molten plastic. An injection pressure of 1,5 to 40 bar and a temperature range of -50° to +200°C are used. This process also enables the integration of bores, screw threads and direct use as a housing.
By using different materials, specific requirements in terms of flexibility, impact resistance, shock absorption, moisture resistance, impermeability, UV protection, chemical resistance and color can be met. This ensures that the electronic components are protected against corrosion and environmental influences and are also suitable for use in difficult environments with high humidity or strong temperature fluctuations.
