Direct cable contact with solder cup

New to the product range are spring contacts in the Plug-In Design and 360° Rolling Pin Design with solder cup. The solder cup allows for direct cable contact with both the spring contact and the mating contact.
In conjunction with a suitable connector housing, wired, spring-loaded interface solutions can be easily implemented. Integrated rings on the sleeve ensure a secure hold in the plastic housing and prevent the pin from slipping or falling out. The solder cup can be adapted to a wide variety of cable thicknesses and types, allowing for greater flexibility in design and connection options. It also provides improved mechanical stability by reducing the risk of the cable detaching due to vibration or shock.
The solder cup is to be seen as a supplement to the plug-in type. Therefore, almost all N&H spring contacts in this standard design can be customized with a solder cup. Due to their high tolerance range, spring-loaded contacts are particularly suitable for contacting uneven surfaces and are used in the field of power and data transmission. They offer a very good shock and vibration resistant connection.
Depending on the pin, the current carrying capacity is between 1A and 15A, which makes it interesting for a large number of applications. In addition to the standard gold coating, customer-specific coatings with nickel, palladium or Super AP are also possible.
